Image Handler 2 (for ZC v1.3.8 ONLY) Support

Not sure if this is me, thats missed something.......

IH2 and Lightbox installed, and if i do something like have an image thats too large (say, 1200 pixels) or have an image thats in CAPITALS or a space in it, then it seems to break the site

(breaking it the right hand side column and the footer don't show)

Should all images be altered to say 600 and named in lowercase to avoid this? (as this what it seems like)

Not sure if this is me, thats missed something.......
Image names are case-sensitive, you can name an image in all caps, but then you have to stick with that to call it.
No spaces in image names.
If your image is too large, yes it will break your page layout, depending, of course, on what that is.

I am currently using 1.3.8. I loaded IH2 and the admin portion appears to be working; however, I have encountered problems on my product page. The product main image has disappeared and the additional images are not showing. However I have also loaded the Cross Sell module and the IH zoom function is working for those images on that section of the page.
The strange thing is when I "view source" on the page the code is there for both the main image and additional images.

I checked that my bmz_cache and images folders have the same permissions (755) which they do. I think it has something to do with my custom template. I copied the contents from custom into my custom folder. I'm not sure I merged the popup_image_additional/tpl_main_page.php correctly.

Any ideas on what I've done wrong would be great.

My image handler has suddenly stopped working :blink:

Starting this morning, it's kind of crap shoot as to whether the additional images will show or not.

I can add the additional images in admin as always, but sometimes they're not showing on the product page. I haven't made any db changes or anything else.

Here's a product page for example, in admin this actually has 2 additional images but they're not showing up.

Here's a product that I also added today, and the additional image is showing!

Your hover on additional images is not working either.
Check if all IH files are there, most of all imagehover.js.
IH installs this in template_default/jscript/.
If there is any javascript in the jscript folder of your CUSTOM template, imagehover will not work.

Sorry, it does work.
It is how I roll.
What you have to watch for is any of the scripts is not using the same function name.
This goes for either template_default/jscript/ or CUSTOM/jscript/

How are you uploading your additional images?
Are you using IH to uploaded?

just install Image Handler 2, I add one additional image, i just clicked the additional image. but can't show the larger image

The popup larger image link is

Resolved. I used SSO. so the additonal image can't popup

OK I'm stuck...

I've uploaded the files to their correct directories, and that's about it.... I've tried reinstalling them. No Joy. Nothing appears in the tool menu.

The only addon I have are additional sideboxes. Both IH and ZC are up to date. Any suggestion why they do not appear in the tools menu?

Yes, I upload them through the IH panel. I've never had a problem with it until yesterday except that my imagehover has never worked. I posted about it way back, I think it has something to do with the size of my images.

Ok, I'm sure that this has probably been asked before and I'm sure the answer is out there somewhere in Zen land, but being that we are at over 370 pages on this topic I am hoping that someone can help me out with Image Handler2.

We have installed IM2 on our site, but I'm not entirely sure how to maximize its use? Are there some instructions/tips available that could help this Zen beginner utilze IM2 on my web site?

With many of our products we have attribute images showing the different colors, etc. of a particular product. Currently the attribute images are static thumbnails. I would like to have these attribute thumbnails clickable to enlarge for a better view. Is this possible with IM2?

We have installed Attribute Pop-Up as well and assume that IM2 can be used in conjunction with this to get the end result that I'm looking for. The problem is I don't know how to configure these plugins to do what I want.

I don't know if you have installed latest version of "Attribute popup large images" (available in download area).
I use this + IH2 + Lightbox + additional images relocated with CSS.
Yes, it is possible to install all this and get excellent results, mods do not conflict.
However, each has its own setup, instructions are available with the mods.

I recently installed IH2 to an existing store. However, the image zoom doesn't work. All images on the site were uploaded, prior to installation of IH2. Will IH2 resize images for an existing site? How can I get the zoom function to work on my thumbnails? Thanks!
