Image Handler 2 (for ZC v1.3.8 ONLY) Support

I am getting this error.

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class base in /home/lorig0/public_html/shoppe/includes/classes/class.base.php on line 17

I have uploaded all the files again but it is still not working.

Anyway, go to Troubleshooting section in downloads area and get the debug error log utility, follow instructions.

I have installed image handler 2 and it's working. I was wandering if it is possible to change the pop up window that pop's up when you click on the larger image option in my online store. I do not like how it pop's out into it's own window, I would rather something else, like a zoom in possibly, I have the zoom in feature for the small and medium ( which only zooms to the same size as the actual image of itself - can that be changed? ) which i have turned off as I do not like how it only zooms to it's same size.
I have put all the recommended settings into the admin/config/images and still can't get that window to stop popping up or the zoom to actually zoom to a larger size than itself.
Below is my website, if you click on the ' online store ' hyperlink and then click one of the images it will take you to another screen with just that image, when you click on that image the dreaded pop up window appears ( yuk )

http://www.soulkreed.com You should start a seperate thread.. this is stock Zen Cart functionality, and not something fixed by Image Handler..

One set of those images opens correctly, the other set opens by it's self in the original window, which is annoying. Any ideas?

Although I am a fairly new user of Image Handler, I haven't seen any additional image functionality like that in this contribution (if so, I have no clue where it is hiding).

It looks like you are using the ZJ Black 2 template and I believe that template package comes with a bunch of jquery additions, such as that scrolling image navigation bar for additional images. Also, I am not sure if that template comes with a lightbox mod built-in, but I have not seen that style of lightbox before (it doesn't look like zen lightbox or fual lightbox).

I think this is a lightbox / template compatibility issue and not image handler as I have run into something VERY similar trying to get a lightbox contrib to work with a template (first additional image is duplicated in the lightbox gallery navigation).

If you don't get any response on this here you might search the ZJ Silver/Black support thread or the support thread for that lightbox contrib you are using.

I have this contribution working almost to the point I want it - my last problem area is getting the mouseOver effect to work (large-image preview) on the product page itself. It currently uses the default zenCart behaviour (opens in a new window). Did I miss a step somewhere?

For my own amusement I uninstalled Lightbox 1.5 to see if it made a difference. The main product image reverts to the old way of displaying but the gallery addition remains the same. No effect on the issue I am seeing.

I reinstalled Lightbox, again no change to the gallery issue on the product.

Okay this issue is not an IH or Lightbox problem but a problem with the ZJ templates and more likely residing with JCarousel that was included with the template pack. It looks to be a known issue but the Dev on the original template seems to have abandoned the project.

That is the default behaviour of IH2, it will not hover over the main image.
You can install Zen Lightbox or Fual Slimbox to get a lightbox there.

I've checked the BMZ_CACHE and it seems to use the same cached images over and over again, but this is just locally and with one user - me. I recon bandwidth would be quite an issue if 10-20 visitor surfed the shop at the same time and IH2 cashed the images individually for each customer.
I bet it's not even an issue, but I want to be sure before going live.

Really basic question about installtion. Just downloaded files, and following the install instructions, renamed the admin folder, but when I get to renaming the template, I find a classic folder, template_default, and YOUR_TEMPLATE. I use the classic template that came with Zen, contemporary green.

Question is, do I rename YOUR_TEMPLATE contemporary green? If I try to rename it classic, it of course says that folder already exsists.

I am confident that this is a stupid question, however, maybe some one will take pity on me.

Ending up renaming YOUR_TEMPLATE to classic, and merged the two folders. Uploaded via ftp the entire store root folder to my root directory, per read me instructions, opened admin, no menu choice to install image handler. Deleted store root folder from my root directory and will wait for some direction. ( I hope)

Basically, on some products the 'select action' pane is missing - i.e. there is no 'New File' button

Is this something basic? Any ideas?

it seems related to image size - not sure the exact size where the problem shows up, but I just resized the images down from 330kb to under 90kb and now the button appears

As each image is requested it is retreived from the cache if available. Otherwise it is created and stored in the cache for future requests (by everyone).

Hi there,

My developer installed this mod in our store last night. Our ZC install is fairly heavily modified, but it appears to be working correctly.

However, when uploading an image via the Edit Product screen from Firefox on a Windows 7 PC, something crashes and I get a blank screen after clicking 'Preview'. The image does not get uploaded and the Page Source is blank. Uploading images from the IH manager is OK.

This has been confirmed from 2 different PCs running FF 3.5.7 and Win7 Ultimate. (I've also tried FF 3.7.1a trunk build).

I've tried more than 1 Admin user account, I've tried with Firefox on XP, I've tried with IE8 on Win7 and they all work OK.

This has led me to presume that the issue is directly related to Firefox on Windows 7.

Any ideas why this might be occurring would be much appreciated?

I've just installed IH2 v2 rev 7 but have not configured anything.
I noticed after the install that my category images now show above my individual product listings. A link for the visual is shown below.
