Image Handler 2 (for ZC v1.3.8 ONLY) Support

Can anyone suggest me why the IH2 not working on internet explorer , though it works for FF.

My zencart version is Zen Cart 1.3.8

I have no problem seeing Image Handler 2 on IE 8, flock, Avant. You have to position your mouse at the right spot. Your image is quite large so move up a bit and you will see Image Handler 2 does it stuff.

It doesnt work for ie6 and ie7. Some of the image work and some of not.

I check your website on IE 7 and your image does show for me.

Your image is too big for it to show. It need room. If you reduce your image side. You should not have any problem with image handler 2. Test it yourself.

Reduce your image size. Test it and see if it workout.

Sorry to ask a question that must have been asked before - I have spent a good hour trawling through this thread looking for an answer...

I have IH2 installed with zencart 1.3.8 and it has been working great. However, have noticed now that while additional images are loaded fine and visible in IH2 via the admin interface, they are not appearing on the website and I am not sure why.

Thanks in advance for any help to resolve this.

And on firefox no issues it seems to work really well but on IE it shows errors

I no this has been covered and another guy was refered to a post number to resolve this but I have read the info from that post with no luck.

Can some one please explain how to fix this..

It's the ending on your images. If the image name ends with .JPG (in capital letters), the image won't show cartside.

I have just upgraded a site from 1.3.7 to 1.3.8a and my multiple product images no longer show up in the store. I can see them in the admin panel.

I can see the crazy filenames are being written via javascript but the images are not appearing.

I am not familiar with IH2, would clearing the cache help resolve the problem?

I have narrowed down the issue to javascript. Browsing with js off I can see the images just fine. What is the normal fix for IH2 not correctly writing javascript? Thanks again.

This is what I had reported to me. However it appears that what is happening is that some additional images are appearing, some are not.

Here is a link to a product which has one additional image showing but not all of the additional images which have been loaded in ImageHandler

I notice that the images that are not appearing are large file sizes - 1.7mb some of them.

Do they need to be resized before image handler can handle them?

I increased the size of my listing images. Now they don't show hover anymore. I think the problem is that the image that hovers has become smaller than the image that is displaced. If this is the case then please suggest how can I increase the size of the image hover so that it starts showing again.

Hover image is governed by this setting in Admin:
Configuration --> Images --> Product Info - Image Width and/or Image Height.
Personally I prefer to omit one of the settings and let IH do the resizing.
