Image Handler 2 (for ZC v1.3.8 ONLY) Support

I notice that the images that are not appearing are large file sizes - 1.7mb some of them
I suggest to resize them to a useful size in pxs., one that can be displayed without scrolling.
Check the file extension, always use lowercase, images ARE case-sensitive.

PS sorry about origanally posting in the wrong form, I'm still getting the hang of things.

Tophand's replacement file here fixes the "bug" in IE where your thumbs pop-up is in the wrong place.

Thanks for the hint ckosloff. Everything appears to be in the right place but obviously something got malformed during my upgrade.

If I remove IH2 by clicking on the uninstall link, and then removing all of the associated files will I lose all of the images I have uploaded and configured through IH2? There are several hundred products in the store with multiple images so having that hosed would be a shame.

Currently I have turned IH2 off and the additional images appear.

The hover/popup image is the medium sized image which is the product display image.
Admin-->Config-->Images

I'm having trouble with the hover zoom (not sure what to call it) when I use any template other than classic. It works fine with classic. But with "Pure Blue" and "The Bookshelf", when I hover over an image, the screen jumps way down, and the image is displayed at the top. With "Classic" the screen doesn't move at all, the image just zooms very nicely. I'm not sure where to start to get this fixed.

Absolutely not.
Those images are in your images directory, IH2 stores them there, regardless of where it picks them up from.
If you reinstall IH2, they will be ready to go.

I have installed only two addons, Image Handler & Zenlight box.

I can't find (spent hours searching) how to fix the border so that images are inside so it looks proportional.

I am new to zencart and i am having some trouble putting image handler 2 on it. i have uploaded the files to includes/templates/custom/templates is this the correct place? as it is not showing up in my admin (image handler install). my site is https://www.gothiclilithslocker.co.uk and this is sending me around the twist so please help! :huh:

Woo hoo!  That worked.  Thank you so much.

Now for my next question - once I click on that small image, it takes me to the more info page, where my medium image is displayed.  I can't get the hover to work on that image.  I'd like to hover over the medium and get the large image to pop up without clicking.  Can that be done.

HI, We installed Image Handler a few weeks ago to our site and since then our traffic from google, particularly google images has dropped by 2/3rds.....my programmer thinks it's because the images are renamed into unrecognisable names through IH2....any other ideas? Has this happened to anyone else? If so what did you do? Thanks

How to apply watermark for additional images in product info page. if the size for additional images are the listing size or small size. it add a watermark, but if i simple change the size of the additional images to a bigger one, like the MEDIUM_IMAGE_WIDTH, it won't work...please

I see that many people have the same problem to what I am experiencing, but it does not seem to be explained in this forum. In the past I just have ignored this error and turned the hover feature off. But the mouse over effect is the best feature of IH2.

If you make any changes to the IH2 from configuration/images it will stop the hover display on small images.

When I then look at my site, trail my mouse over an image, I get the following error message for each picture I trail my mouse over: ```
showtrail is not defined
onmouseover(mouseover clientX=543, clientY=525)index.ph...HqA%3D%3D (line 2)
[Break on this error] showtrail("bmz_cache/f/f6ce20017...3, 175, 247, 350, this, 0, 0, 123, 175);

That results on as many errors on the page, as there are images to display.

Does anyone have a fix for this?

Also would it be possible to put a transparent pixel over the image displayed? This would make it very hard for anyone to copy the pictures, as with right-click and screen-grab, you would just have a blank image.
